My family would always visit my grandparents that lived in Nashville even tho I live in the country the sound of the cars going by always helped me go to sleep but then my grandparents passed away and i never got to fall asleep to the sound of a busy city at night and this brought back a lot of memories of when we would visit them. This is absolutely THE BEST city sounds recording I’ve encountered. They virtually always loop and my brain cues right in to the repeating pattern. I’ve never lived in a bustling city but always love to sleep with a window open when possible anytime work takes me to a major urban center. Even though it’s not my usual nighttime soundscape, the distant hum of city activity lulls me right to sleep.

I miss when i lived with my parents on an apartment, leaving the window open at a summer night, listening to the sounds of the traffic and the wind, ugh so good, now i live in a -1 floor, basically i dont have window on my bedroom :/
