RECIPE (5 buns, 2 1/2h prep time):
-300g flour
-1 Tsp instant yeast
-1 Tsp Salt
-1 Tbsp sugar
Stir to combine.
-150ml unsweetened plant milk
-45g margarine or oil
Heat it up until lukewarm.
Add to the fry mix and knead for 5mins.
Let them rest 60-90mins.
Shape in 6 balls and slightly flatten them.
Let them rest 45min.
“Egg” wash:
-4 Tbsp vegan cream
-2 Tbsp maple syrup
Brush the buns with it.
Add sesame seeds.
Bake at 220C/440F for 15mins.

We used to buy buns every time we needed them, but thanks to this recipe, we're totally converted to homemade, thank you! 😅
I make the dough in the bread maker and use extra-virgin olive oil. I also use regular milk as we seldom have plant milk in the house and 157g is perfect.
The whole family loves these buns and I've made them so many times I hardly need to look at the recipe screenshot any more. Thanks again Maya, for adding more good food ideas to our lives. 😍😋

There's a Pakistani street foodversion of Veggie Burger that you'll love. The ingredients are mostly veggies. The Patty is made from lentils and Spices.Then come Green Chutney, Ketchup, Mayo and Coleslaw/ Sliced Onions. It's called Bun Kebab.
You should try it once.

Oh my god I FINALLY have confirmation you are from a german speaking country.

My German radar clocked you AGES ago. Going "yeah she's german/ switss/ austrian/ etc)" And I was like. Why do you think that. And my brain was like 🤷🏼‍♀️ And I could never find concrete proof! But that "Feier dich." on the fridge and Alnatura Soja Cuisine definitely sealed the deal for me.

(I actually thought I may be wrong for a while because your fridge is so typical American 😂.)
