Thanks doc. Yeah I agree, I’m 18 months carnivore and full on meat and eggs solid 6 months. No fiber for a long time. Eat once a day. Don’t spend too much time on the stool. 59 and knocking out pull ups, push ups and squats.

Leave the fiber to Soyboy Julien. Eat steak and live good life.

I’m only about 2 months in to full carnivore (meat, eggs, and some dairy), and I am blown away by how calm the entire digestion experience has become for me. I look back at my years as a vegetarian and vegan with all the digestive distress, bloating, and gas that I thought was normal. And I would take fiber when I felt constipated and feel proud of the my large bowel movements! Now I look back and just laugh! 😆 I’m so grateful for your content. Thank you!! ❤

When comes to feeding your microbiome collagen is the carnivore alternative to fibre, plus it's good for your skin and connective tissue. Win win.

I have lymphocytic colitis. I had to eliminate fiber because it tore up my guts bad. Since going on the lion diet almost 2 years ago, holy cow, almost all better

12 months in carnivore and I'm loving how my health turned. Around 35kgs down, feeling healthy and energetic. No veges and very little fruits for the past year.

Eliminating fiber resolved my IBS. If I was eating carbs/sugars of course I would combine it with fiber to reduce the inflammatory outcomes. That doesn't mean fiber is good for me.

I enjoy having just the right amount of fibre. I've tried 100% carnivore, and also a mostly-broccoli diet; but heavily animal based seems right for me. (I need to limit my protein, and I do appreciate the healthy feeling I get from passing fibre)

I'm just over 4 months carnivore and always had trouble in the past with constipation but now my colon seems to be cleaning itself out of all the old stuck 💩. I don't feel bloated anymore, or tired anymore, my blood glucose is perfect every morning...I'm looking fwd to my next A1C 😁

Once you develop anal fissures from shoving sand paper down your pipes, aka fiber, then you'll quit fiber forever. Keep those food journals for people who really need to see with their eyes what they do to their rear.

Been eating a carnivore/meat based diet for over 3 years, and my poop frequency and consistency is exactly as it has always been.

The only fiber I really eat, comes from yellow or red potatoes, and sometimes carrots when I make a stew or beans when I make chili.

No fiber equals no gas. Used to be a farting machine, now, probably less than 10 times a week.

Fiber jams me up causing all kinds of trouble in my gut. At my most recent colonoscopy, I learned I have a redundant and a tortuous colon. That means extra folds and twists in order to fit in my body. Bull foods get trapped. No wonder the Carnivore diet works so well for me.

I heard a doctor once say that a pretty pink colon is an irritated colon.

As a 73 year old male I’m gradually heading towards being a carnivore and feeling the benefits of reducing fibre consumption.

How would a Carnivore diet work for diverticulosis? So far, I've never had any flair ups or infections. I found out I have have several diverticuli at my first colonoscopy. Not sure how long I've had them.

I hear so much conflicting information about fiber is good for preventing diverticulitis and at the same time to avoid seeds, hard nuts and grains.

I eat a grain free, meat heavy keto diet, and do include some vegetables, occasionally some macadamia nuts, pistachios, walnuts and pumpkin seeds, and some fruit, but they often give me very bad cramping and gas.

When I eat too much insoluble fiber, I end up with what I call "The Thousand Wiper" where the reach for the toilet roll and the wipe swipe never ends -- thrust into an alternate universe of infinite butt wiping, yet to no avail. Flush before you stuff... and continue to unravel that roll. I like my poops clean and easy - let it go, wipe once, and get on with the day. After a Thousand Wiper, I always feel like it all just didn't come out! Anyone else?
