reMarkable must have DEEP pockets. Getting all these big tech creators to advertise their device

These paid reviews are pretty much useless. Not much info on the actual performance

$829 with pen and key board. Yeah back to dollar tree for a paper note book.

Power user here. I have been using the R2 x 3yrs in hospital setting. Working 12h shifts. The device is very useful for me. No distractions at all. Battery life is impressive. Able to save so far more than 2 thousand notebooks, PDF files, etc. suuuuper lightweight. Easy to take notes on the go. Every other eeek someone will approach me and be exited ( more than an ipad lol)

I have the remarkable 2 and as a college student, it’s everything I tell myself I’ll use an iPad for, minus everything I’d actually use an iPad for.

But can you fold it into a paper plane?

I think not

Some of these comments are why these devices should be sent to eink influencers rather than general tech. If you can’t see the benefits of using eink over an iPad for writing and reading, then don’t bother watching a video on an eink device.

This product is not designed to be for everyone

Not an iPad replacement, not for budget students

This is niche for heavy note takers that would benefit from having their notes centralized.

I have an R2 and ordered a paper pro. I used to have stacks of legal sized notepads and go through them at a one pad/week rate.

For someone like me that uses this everyday for work and expressing ideas with clients, it pays for itself in productivity.

I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone if the benefits do not outweigh the cost

Man, I totally get the hype around tech gadgets like the Remarkable Pro. They look sleek and give you that temporary boost of excitement, like you just unlocked a productivity cheat code. But let’s be real, it’s just another form of procrastination. We tell ourselves this new tool will make us more productive, but after a month, it’s just another thing we get used to—classic hedonic treadmill. At the end of the day, it’s not the $600 device that’s going to do the work for us, it’s just putting in the time. Gotta resist the mental trap!

I hate that I have to one without color. sign and the reading light would help. THis already seems like a true upgrade and we are one minute in the video.

It's a really great product...only if the price could have been less

I’ve taken up the wonderful, soothing hobby of fountain pens and stationary. Got a bunch of pens, including a few nice Sailors, a Visconti and a couple of Watermans. Got a nice set of Pilot Iroshizuku inks. And nice notebooks from Rhodia, Midori and Hobonichi. And stickers and stamps. Everything cost me half of this gadget, I’m enjoying the real thing a lot.

I would buy this if it had a Calendar feature. Wouldn't that be a great feature to have.
