In a rare 1965 television appearance sharing equal lead vocals and dressed in sexy mod British fashion, DIANA ROSS, MARY WILSON (R.I.P) and the late great FLORENCE BALLARD paid music homage to THE BEATLES.
THE SUPREMES sang “Eight Days A Week” on the teen music show called “Shindig!” It was the English Rock band’s seventh number one pop song currently on top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
The hit single was written by group members JOHN LENNON (R.I.P.) and PAUL McCARTNEY. It also topped the charts in Canada, The Netherlands and Belgium.
