My interpretation of the "dancing to the petals" lines is that, based on the MV and the previous talk of roses, those red petals floating around represent red superchats in her streams. She's "dancing to their tune" in reference to how she obviously wants to create an enjoyable experience for the viewers, but at the end of the day, we shouldn't forget that even if she's "dancing to our tunes", she's the one sitting on the throne and running the show.

Your breakdown on point as always, picked up a lot of stuff I didn't even catch and I watched the song like 5 times already. On the theme of the song in general, I think you are right in picking up that it has a kind of tragic implication. I think specifically that there are a lot of references to possible insecurities over the fact that she is a V-tuber, and the persona she shows to the world and has tied her musical success to will one day come to an end, and then what?

No one knows who exactly the person behind the avatar is (well some do, but that's beside the point). She's "curious what comes after it... it's mysterious... and yet I exist". When 'Calliope' comes to an end, will the 'real' person behind the avatar have anything to show for it, or will she just turn back to stone/fade away? Her ambitions are driving her to achieve more and more, knowing that no matter what she achieves as calliope, one day it might all be for nothing (at least as far as her artistic legacy as the person behind Calliope is concerned). But she has to keep moving forward, as she says: "Dread, Sorrow, can't turn away... Can't turn back."

But it's not meant to fully depressing, she notes the mask she wears is an alright fit and that even though she dancing to the tune of the people who are here for the persona Calliope, it's still the 'real' her "owning the throne" at the end of the day.

Dude can you imagine how insane it is to come out of nowhere, release your first song as this new persona, and hit number one in the charts practically over night? Then, on top of that, that's just your first single and now you have the pressure of following that success up forever. That can't be an easy thing to deal with mentally.
