Luis Suárez returns to training at the Ciutat Esportiva

Luis Suárez worked out at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Friday. The Uruguayan will return to full training with the team on July 31, but during the intervening period he will continue with an individual programme.

Barça's No.9 participated in the Copa América and, similar to the other South American players that took part, is therefore not on the tour of Japan with the other 26 players; 17 from the first team and nine from Barça B.

If he manages to stay this fit (he looks like he's lost at least 4-5 kg since last season), I can see him having a truly wonderful season. Seeing as he turns 33 in January, he needs to look after himself a lot more than in the past. If he can do that throughout the season, I have high hopes for him to dominate La Liga yet again.
