What I don't understand is why Eddie, when playing Jump live in the early days, sacrificed the guitar solo and played the solo on the synthesizer. It really isn't that difficult to switch from synth to guitar, and Michael Anthony was there to play the synth rhythm parts during the solo. As awesome as VH was, this replacement just sounded awful.
