Best BEACHES in LAIE, HAWAII -Living in Laie, Oahu's North Shore

Living in Laie is top-notch. The undeniable small-town vibe is just minutes away from the busier, touristy North Shore of Oahu. Sure if you live here you probably don't work here but that's a little bit of living in Laie's charm. Here are my favorite beaches to relax on in Laie.

Malaekahahna State park is truly a gem on the north shore. It is located just a quarter of a mile or so outside of Laie and offers 37 acres of recreational park for many activities. There is beachfront camping with 74 available spots, large open fields for playing sports, lounging, and offers hiking trails. The water is always beautiful but due to tradewinds not always calm.

Hukalia Beach is another perfect destination for a picnic. There are beautifully manicured lawns that line the coast. This large stretch of coast has plenty of space for you and your family to find solitude.

They really are beautiful beaches. Whenever the stresses of every day life build up, I always think of Laie and the people who live there and always feel better.
