Walking around the SEMA Show this year we were attracted to the red valve cover of a supercharged B18C engine on display. Unfamiliar with the company we stopped to ask, "What's up?" It turns out that eFlexFuel makes a piggy-back solution for many different vehicles including Hondas running the stock ECU. This programmable system monitors the percentage of ethanol in your fuel and makes the necessary adjustments to injector pulse timing to keep the engine happy and maximize the stock ECU tune.

Ive run this on my V6 solara here in finland and its been flawless apart from my fuel pump being inadequate on hard accelerations

I put this kit on my stock 2002 Mustang GT. It ran fine for several days on 44% ethanol content but the day that I refilled the tank I got 61% ethanol content (a mix between 44% and 85% which would make it around 61%) and the car died. This is less than a week after I put in the kit. Turns out that it killed my fuel pump (or was it coincidence?) and I have to replace it. The manufacturer and another youtuber said that neither the fuel pump nor the fuel injectors need to be upgraded from stock. Anyway, I ordered a fuel pump certified for E85 only to find out that the fuel pump housing for the bad pump was of poor design where you have to remove a small hose to get access to the fuel pump. Which caused another problem because I ended up destroying the small hose and can't find a replacement that is SAE 30R10 anywhere. The corrugated hose fits onto an 1/8 inch OD port on each end of the assembly. So, I have to order a complete assembly with a fuel pump pre-installed because you can't get just the housing from any manufacturer. You might not be able to specify an E85 compatible fuel pump either. I'm not a happy junior mechanic right now.

Questions:

I have a map that's dialed in for 98. When I use just pump gas 98, would this device mess up with my tuned map?

When I use E85, would the existing map in the car (and all it's parameters) be used-aside of course from injector scaling compensating for E85?

IMO the Pro version is excessively expensive

I just had EflexFuel installed on a Subaru WRX 2006
The vehicle is tuned for 93 octane.
I filled the tank with E85 after installation. After 2 days of driving, vehicle got a CEL
PO171 System too lean error code. Prior to the CEL my AFR which showed 14.7 at idle on 93 pump gas. On E85 AFR is 14.9 to 15.2 and sometimes even 16!! The sale pitch on this says that retune is not required but obviously that is not the case.
