I'm not kidding when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it Investing is a long-term game, so focus on the long run.

Very informative video, but you missed one small detail: The Great Depression did start AFTER Black Tuesday, but not because of it. Eventually, credit froze up, which is what REALLY screwed up the economy.

There's a lot missing from the story line here. Most bought on margin so they borrowed their purchased shares and used the shares as collateral. On Black Tuesday they were also FORCED to liquidate for falling short the capital required to honor their loans. This exacerbated the collapse and also is why people lost more than 12%...they lost 100%.
