what about designing a SSB QSE/QSD module based on the Tayloe mixer clocked at 40.96mhz for 10.240mhz and lose the SSB filter as you can incorporate a USB/LSB switch in the Johnson counter to select the side-band that you want to chat on or using the Tayloe mixer as an up/down converter you know what I mean clock=((fin+10.240)*4) for an output at 10.240 and no need for a ceramic filter as it is not needed when using a phasing mixer, the chip you might be looking for is the MC145151
