For me book buying bans don't work because i go to thriftstores and most of the times they have complete series for 15 euros...way too cheap to leave behind 😅

But i tend to not buy too many new books just because the price for a new book here in belgium are insane...

Voyage of the Damned is so so good. it was part of the Illumicrate sub a few months ago. I was so surprised by how much I loved this. 4.5 stars for me !

All I know is that the rogue king is a spicy Romantasy with dragons. I have read another series by the same author and loved it! The first book in that series was called the liars crown. It’s a paranormal Romantasy. It’s so good and I’d recommend it to you.

The golden spoon is so good! I read it last year and loved it! I’m also so glad you got wisteria by Adalyn Grace. I absolutely loved the first two books. I can’t wait to buy it but I’m on a book buying ban until mid November.

fyi the UK paperbacks tend to be +/-200mm (usually 197mm)
they publish large sized paperbacks that are roughly the same height as Royal format (~220mm, the size you're holding for Wisteria, Royal is the name for the larger UK hardcover size), but I'm not 100% sure if it's just for the first year? or on release? I just know it's a more limited print run

so don't expect all UK paperbacks to be the same size! you got the less common, more expensive height (this is also the format I have for the full Belladonna series, lol)

meanwhile US publishers don't even maintain height consistency within the same series, smh. but at least our books are floppy and nice to read from and the spines rarely crack! 😅

I think The Rogue King is by the same author as The Games Gods Play that’s coming out, so I’m intrigued by what her other books are like 👀 Voyage of the Damned is such a gorgeous book omg 🤩 I find I like non-fiction better in audiobook form, I'm listening to cultish right now!

I was on a book buying ban accidentally for almost 3 years💀 just straight up stopped buying books one day and don’t know why now I’ve got into it again the last few weeks and have bought like 10 books already LOL
