It was phenomenal for Bill and the Wall Street behemoths like BlackRock, Vanguard and StateStreet.

One of my IIT professor used tell us IITian have very strong foundation in physics, maths and chemistry. And come through a strong filtering process but at the same time it is also true that student from other university can also excel and anybody can improve anytime if he has fire to do so .

The lesson to learn from here is that India needs to provide the tools and opportunities to the engineers of the country.

It is still terrible thing for india, talented ppl leaving the country, but there arent good alternatives here. Although the startup scene is changing that for the better

They are good tools. People use and then discard them.

For many indians who are saying its a bad thing are absolutely incorrect. Great minds can only perform to optimum when they are given the tools and freedom to innovate. India for the better part has had neither...bad infrastructure, politics and burecracy can reduce great minds to absolutely nothing. And not everyone gets hired from iit...there are still many students from iit who get to be here....how many have innovated anything worthy on global scale....and the only reason is India.

Most of the US companies has more than 35-40% of their workforce in india and the remaining in their countries around 40-50% are Indians . and Indian companies use the products made by Indians abroad and pay a higher price to buy/use those. So technically we pay a higher price to buy/use them than what we get out of them in the form of remittance. It's like exporting your produce (people) at x $ and importing the processed produce (different softwares) at x+z $ for using it.

Greatest talent were settled in India in the form of Administrative services like IAS, IPS. Even IIT's are unable to crack those exams😂 .. In the next level settled in IT sector in india with good packages
In the next level a very good entrepreneurs in India
Last and final level .. They left India for MS in other countries because its the easiest way to escape unemployment
