Boy I like that!...That is the kind of board a guy would love to have right at their feet in a home studio...perfect tools for quick jamming, song creation/inspiration and especially recording...nicely laid out and roomy too. Great job!

Pretty cool TK. Nice of you to make this video for people to see. Sometimes it's easy to forget how simple a p. board can be. I always get hung up on "What I really want" vs "What I can afford". So I end up not doing anything because I don't have the funds to do it the way I want. Something is better than nothing. Due to the way you built your " creativity board" it would be really easy to add a top to it for transportation and security. I've found that reasonably descent hardware is rather inexpensive. You have inspired me to do something of my own and to "keep it simple stupid". To not over think it and just get it done. It would be nice to just be able to plop a board down and plug it in. Rather than pulling everything out setting every thing up. Then when done, having to undo everything to put away. I don't have the space to leave my gear out, . So when I want to jam I have to set everything up and tear down every time. It's really un inspiring. Even if a person just wanted to go to the garage or a friend's house. It would make things so much easier. To just grab the board and plug it in. Wallah !!! Not to mention trying to remember that pedal order that sounded and worked so well 4 days ago. Trying to remember how you had it set up and thinking you don't have it just right and it don't sound like you want it to is frustrating. Anyhow, sorry I drug that out. Thanks for the video. You have given me a good project for the day that I can do with scrap and junk from around the house.

I'm digging your shirt DoOd! 8-) I like what you did with the power strip. It's almost always the biggest PITA on the board.

Endless possibilities when we DIY, is there a company that sells pieces only, like erector sets. I think I found my calling, great vid

I use a DIY plywood pedalboard since 8 years, even toured with it and I don't think I'll change to a real pedal board any soon.

Hey TK, what is the reason you chose the pigtronix infinity looper over other loopers. Is it options, functions, build quality, price, usability ? You mentioned the infinity works well with the beat buddy. Is it just because it's a looper ? Or because it is the infinity specifically? So many options to choose from, in regards to loopers. I've had a few different ones over the years. Currently I have the small gray one that's popular lately. The name escapes me right now. I believe it's from t.c. electronic. The nano looper ? It's been said that it's great because it does not color your sound and replay is very true to the original performance. I don't find that to be true. It always plays back at a way lower volume and sounds compressed. Maybe even slightly distorted. Would really like to find a new looper. I had a boss rc-30. I used for many years and it was great. Used it to the point that it litteraly fell apart and has been repaired many times. That is no small feat for a boss pedal. Lol. Maybe I should go back to boss. Lol. Any how, thanks again and have a good one !!!

Very nice!
How thick was your plywood?

I'm trying to find a 3 or 4 way switcher for my expression pedal. This idea of having to buy a n $120 expression pedal for every modulation type effect that needs one is silly in my book.

Wrong you can use any handles and screws. Plus, if you want it little more professional looking, add aluminum rails to the sides and also you could route out the pedal size shape ( Zakk Wylde has does this and still uses the same simple wooden board for decades.

That's a decent board if works for you cause most would build theirs differently.
