Installing Octoprint Tutorial for Raspberry Pi3!

I've made this video guide on how to setup Octoprint on a Raspberry Pi 3! Now you can print wireless to your 3D Printer using Octopi!

You will need a few things that I mentioned in the video...

I've been struggling with my printer freezing as it started a print and pulling my hair out watching so many "it's just so easy" videos. Your tip at the very end about rebooting the router solved the problem. Thank you so much for reminding me that unplugging from the wall is tech support 101.

Thanks for posting! Excellent guide and well presented. Just bought a Raspberry PI 3 and Webcam late this afternoon. Followed the video and was able to start printing from Octoprint a couple hours later. The open source community is truly amazing!

WOW, out of the many videos I've tried to watch on this, this is the best simple walk through I've seen. Put this is my favorites folder to come back to as soon as my stuff arrives in the mail. I'll be putting this on SIX PRUSAS HOLY GEEZ WISH ME LUCK. Currently I just have webcams/wifi power outlets to view and power down my printers remotely. Thanks for this video.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK Yes, I am SHOUTING thank you.
I have been banging my head against the keyboard trying to get my (__censored__) Pi to work!
I have watched video after video and YOURS was the ONLY ONE that said do NOT format after installing Octoprint.
I got the dreaded "Kernel panic-not syncing: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(179, 2)" error!
There are all kinds of crazy "solutions" out there, none worked!
This video worked FLAWLESS!

Great walkthrough, thank you. one piece of missing information is altering country of origin in the same file you alter the wifi info. My Pi came with UK as the default country and my country is the US. As soon as I changed that, zero issues. The octoprint's FAQ on wifi connectivity issues is where I found the solution. Thanks for making the effort to produce this video and good luck with your printing and YouTube endeavors.
