Funniest part about this is they offer "3.5" gigabit download speeds... but only has a 2.5 gb nic. So... classic example of docsis can get this but yeah, you can't use it unless you get a new modem and router with 10 gig (yes the tier is, 1gb, 2.5 gb, and you have to go up to 10gb). Commercial gear has 10gb.. 20.. 40.. 80... 100gb..

What was the model you had before? I have the Motorola 8600 which is a DOCSIS 3.1 like the S33

I’m thinking about getting this my Xfinity mordem and router 2 in 1 isn’t working out for me. Wi-Fi goes in and out sometimes it’s never consistent. I’m also getting a separate router as well.

My current Arris surfboard has lights for Upload and Download. My internet provider on provides DOCIS 3.1 for Download, therefore I only get a Blue light on the Download while the Upload is always Green. The lights are different on the S33, I think it is either yes (blue) or no (3.0 green). So what do you get if you only have 3.1 for Download?

Arris S33 didn't do this. He asked for a higher speed on his internet plan. Pretty sad way to hype your new 200 dollar modem. I do like how much smaller it is.

eh. just saw the last part of your video.. What you said makes ZERO sense. Docsis modems went from 40mbps with docsis 2.0.. then docsis 3.0 came out in 2006 with a 1gbps download capacity. Docsis 3.1 came out in 2013 and gives 10gbps download speed. There is no way you went from docsis 3.1 modem... assuming your modem is less then 10 years old? And went to a newer 3.1 and all you got was 200mbps to 600mbps... Sounds like you bought a new modern AND asked your service provider for more speed... Xfinity can give me 75mbps.. 200 1200mbps.. and 2000mbps... So, is that true? this is all bs?
