1. Cinematic Composition: Shots reminiscent of beautiful shots seen in cinema
2. Cinematic Look: High Contrast, Teal & Orange grade

Essentials: Subject, Scenario, Gear, Color Grading

Subject --> Storytelling: Makes the image more captivating - mysterious figures
Scenario --> Environment - volumetric lighting (interaction between light and air/dirt/etc. --> texture), rays - Shoot into the light!
Gear --> Fast prime lens, low light performance (shooting at dusk, dawn or even night time)

Awesome. Super helpful for people just getting up and running.

Don't forget composition! Cinematic shots in their original context (re: movies) rely on particular conventions tied to motion. Understanding the movement of cameras and subjects in a cinematic scope will help "dial in" the moment which needs to be captured as a static image- the moment which will convey the motion of a full shot, distilled down to a singular moment. Likewise, apply the same logic to your subject if that aspect is under your control- something you did get into in the video, of course.
