Jim Gaffigan is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer. He presently has 5 stand up specials on Netflix and 3 on Amazon Prime Video. He wrote 2 New York Times Best Sellers DAD IS FAT and FOOD: A Love Story He co-created and starred in a tv series based on his life called The Jim Gaffigan Show. He has appeared in numerous TV shows and films in both comedic and dramatic roles.

I was up in Maine in August a few years ago. Went wading (ankle deep) in the Atlantic, and the water was so cold it was like walking in an ice chest. Yet, it was full of happy Canadians in swimsuits vacationing "down South", as if they were in Miami.

I have nothing but admiration for Gaffigan's ability to make people laugh without being rude or offensive or pushing the line. Don't get me wrong - I love that kind of comedy. I also have a very soft spot in my heart for humor I can share with literally anyone.
