This song is a notorious vocal cord murderer. Hagar himself couldn't even duplicate the album version live because it would have throttled his throat for the rest of the set, so he made many adjustments to lower registers throughout the years. Most impressive rendition by this guy.

Tuned down. But still totally awesome. Non one can sing Dreams... heck Sammy can't even do it any more in the original tuning. Back then Ed tuned down everything a half step - except for the keyboard songs. Those were in standard tuning. This song was darn near impossible to sing. Sammy says he even struggled with it back then. So no big deal on the tuning down. This Band is sikk good. Awesome musicianship, and great singing too. One of my all-time favorite songs... and I'd say they smoked it.

This is one of the hardest songs ever recorded to sing live. Very nice job on the vocals. I have no problem with you singing around some of the notes. Sammy was 39 when 5150 was released. That itself is amazing.

The best Van Halen tribute bands in the country that play Roth and Hagar should tour together and truly have it be a Best of Both Worlds tour. There would be audiences everywhere going to see it. And I'd be one of them with beer in hand. 💥

This vocalist has a pretty amazing range in his voice! If you don’t think so, try singing it in the shower. As I was singing, I thought my water pipes were making noise… it was my dog howling in misery!!😂😂😂 whole band sounds great!!
