I'm in my second age gap relationship. My first husband was 62 and I was 25. He was also a police officer and retired as a Sargent on LAPD after 30 years then again as a Chief of Police for five years in Arizona. He was very active and did not look his age at all. I fell in love with him and I actually pursued him. Unfortunately he passed away in 2007 from cancer. We were together 11 years. Then in 2014 a friend of our wife passed away from cancer and I was there as just a friend for my now husband. We were couple friends for years, traveled together and lived around the corner from one another. I was single for seven years, five of those seven I grieved hard. We both knew and liked our departed spouses so there a comfort in that. My husband is 75 and I'm 47. I was always attracted to older men. When my friends were drooling over Brad Pitt I was attracted to Sean Connery or Sam Elliott. I've never regretted being in an age gap relationship.
