Ray cooper is a genius. A calm and collected mad man. Just brilliant.

I saw Ray Cooper with Elton back in the 70's, just the two of them. It was magical.

I find Ray mezmorising. What passion. Need more people in the world that exude pure unadulterated passion.

Ray Cooper helps make a show even greater. I saw him in concert with Elton and Billy joel many years ago, and he was incredible. ( not a musician you will forget easy)

Ahhh yes! With Ray you don't just get a percussionist... you get a conductor, a musician and performer all in one. Just look at that gong... you know he means business! There's a good reason why all the big names seek him out for their concerts and sessions.

Ray Cooper just blows me away. I saw him in person and he did a solo, in MI many many years ago. When he did his solo it was with JUST a gong. At first everyone got real still and as he got going, we all stood and I swear just SCREAMED and YELLED through out the set. There was a woman sitting next to me that just started shaking and crying she was so moved. I asked her if she was ok and she said yes, I just wasn't expecting that. He is THAT awesome.

Seen Elton many times, and one of the top couple of shows was definitely the one with only him and Ray. Fabulous!

I first saw Ray C playing with Clapton on his 25 Anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall, Mark Knopfler also on stage, I couldn’t take my eyes off Ray Cooper, loved him ever since, proper talented showman 👍

I think this was the “Million dollar piano” set at Caesars Palace. I saw this while I was there. We were in LV, wanted to see a concert and had a choice of either Sheryl Crow or Elton that night. So glad we choose the latter. Absolutely awesome concert. I was converted to be an Elton fan as a result (after hearing him played for years by my parents). Ray was awesome too.

Yeah keep focusing on the piano player!
The percussionist is the focus here, I love you Ray C!!

Wouldnt be much of a show without the animation... Ray Cooper is a fantastic percussionist, in the studio he compliments and never overshadows Nigel Olsson, his tambourine adds a much needed "laying it back" feel when Roger Pope was on drums... if Elton didn't want his extravagant visual performance, he wouldnt be there. it's great entertainment and great fun

Why be boring? Ray makes every show that much better. He’s just fun to watch.
