Not only a favourite, but also one of the simplest! Table-based trackers are a great addition to your bullet journal as they help you easily summarise information and allow you to see trends and patterns in the information collected 😄 Today we're looking at a few different examples, but I'd love to hear about how you use tables in your journal!

I have a table to help plan trips throughout the year. There are columns to fill once I've figured out different logistics (dates, transit, rooms), when I've added it to my work calendar, and a large miscellaneous column to add other major to-do tasks (like get tickets to an event, get a gift). There's even a small column to add a color code, which I use in my air miles tracker on the same spread, plus a column to record the miles earned towards elite status.

I really like my habit tracking system. I've been using a table with the days of the month on the vertical, and the habits I want to track represented in symbols across the top. When I started journaling I thought that would be a pain to fill in every day and that I wouldn't use it, but it actually only takes me a minute or two to track 16 different habits. I started habit tracking with weekly trackers, but doing a monthly version saves a lot of setup time and leaves space for other things on weekly spreads.

My sister (in the Gold Coast) is into diaries! She told me about your channel. personally I use fountain pens, from EF, F, B nibs are I can _refile_ the ink converters. The main disadvantage with fountain pens, is the ink drying time!

I use tables for a lot of my health data- especially my otc pain med use. It's a good thing to have and look back at to see how much medication I have been taking - especially helpful for when the doctor asks. I got into bullet journaling as a way to help track my severe migraines. Tables are especially helpful for all sorts of symptoms that I track. Another example of a table I use all the time is a weekly pain scale tracker for each day. Then at the end of the week I have a table that tracks the weekly average. This is helpful when trying to figure out if a medication is working well for me or not, because often it takes a few months for results.

One of the table style ones I do is for symptoms and health. So down the vertical lists the days of the month and then across the top has things like water intake headache medication pain allergies etc. It's nice to be able to see what symptoms and medications I talk throughout the month

I have what I call my "Habits & Health" table tracker, down the side I have the days for the month and then I have two sets of columns, the first one being for the habits I want to track and the second one being for common health issues I have (thanks chronic illness). I then have a spot for notes in case there's something I want to keep track of that isn't one of my habits or health issues.

I am amazed by all the templates you share in your videos - that must be an insane amount of work. Do you prep these just for the videos or did you use them for a certain time? Anyways, i get a lot of inspiration from your videos - btw what brought me to your channel was a video about the alastair method, i find this incredibly helpful to organize all my tasks, most of which are not date specific.

I have found that I like doing tables with habits where I have a key for the habits using a symbol for them, w/the date running down the left hand side for the month, and then on each day I fill in what habits I did that day. there's nothing on the vertical. I like doing it this way because for each day I can see the amount of things I did VERY easily from day to day. i.e. if I did 4 habits one day and 7 the next, it is really obvious because there's 4 spaces filled from left to right vs. 7. I used to do it with the habits on each column like you've shown, but found I don't mind drawing little simple icons (or even letters sometimes) each day to fill them in, and the visual I get overall is much more helpful to me. (granted, if I wanted to see how I was doing for EACH habit, then the column labeling makes much more sense, but I am going for quantity lately lol). but yes, TABLES FTW!!!!

~3:55 you share a project table with the steps to do videos. Is there any way you could attach a copy of that list somewhere where I could get it? I'd love to see what I'm missing (I don't have nearly those many steps!). Thanks!! 🌿M <><.

I use a table tracker for my habits. Instead of making the boxes, I just make a light marker line every other day. I typically only track 6 things, habits on the top, dates down the side. I like a more minimal look. doing the mini calendars that many people use to track habits legit gives me anxiety because the page looks too cluttered and I don't fill them in. 🙄 Definitely more of a minimal bujo person.
