David Gilmore is a genius and I'll fight anyone who disagrees lol seriously though he is right up there at the very top of the list of my all time favorite musicians and guitarist. My dad when I was a teenager (back in the 80's) had just gotten a true surround sound high output stereo system in his shop and I will never forget the first time he cranked it up and was playing Pink Floyd and the second I heard David Gilmore's playing I knew that I had to become a guitar player. You have to understand that back then surround sound was a new thing and hi fidelity surround sound was very expensive and not as common as it is now and my dad always had great taste in music and Pink Floyd was so far ahead of their time and their music was designed for this exact kind of system and I had never heard anything remotely close to it at that time and I remember almost crying from the overwhelming emotions I was feeling listening to them. Yes I am a Pink Floyd fanatic I have to admit lol but I mean I don't know how anyone couldn't love them. Anyway awesome playing and you have nailed the notes and phrasing perfectly. I'm subscribing to you to hear more. Thank you for sharing your awesome playing!
