Zuma Trial I Former president Jacob Zuma's corruption trial resumes on Monday

As we have been reporting this morning, all attention is set to turn to former president Jacob Zuma's corruption trial from today. Zuma faces charges of fraud, corruption, and racketeering related to the 1999 arms procurement deal. The matter is set to be heard virtually, but the former president's foundation through his legal team is against the move.
Zuma has asked for the trial to be postponed for a week, citing the recent violent disruptions as having prevented him from meeting with his legal team as a key reason for asking for the postponement. He is also set to make a "special plea" to be acquitted without trial.

Given the level of treasonous corruption, looting and incitement in SA, I have reached the conclusion that there should be a new rule to determine if people might have used up all thier personal human rights and courts should then deny any requests for legal postponements or consideration based on human rights, as it has been used up. Especially where people enriched themselves at the cost of others, thereby denying those individuals some of their own human rights to a reasonable life.

Everybody is equal before the law and the sponsponment long time ago and moreso Mr. Zumas legal team got the upperhand over his 'foundation' concerning the case been postponed, The law had to apply equally to every prisoners. The is not substance to the postponement..Period. The NPA must apply the law equally to everybody.
