skip find - zip hydroboil

Brand new out the box at £550! FREE from a skip after a refurbishment. A quick test on the element reveals it to be fine. Just need to leave it to dry out for a couple of weeks to ensure the thermostat is dry.

Thanks for the Vid. I have 1 at the moment tripping the breaker but element seems fine at 20 ohms and tested thermostat enclosure to earth but no issues there.. Am I missing something?

Just like to state steam temp is 100 degrees, so the thermostat does hit the 100 degree mark

Hello, my Zip unit, vent is keep leaking. It fills up, water is hot, buy after a while water starts coming out from Vent. Can you please suggest.

Dear Sir, would you please tell me why the same Zip boiler as yours stop filling more water after 3 hours of operations or no more water coming out ? And the water output becoming weaker than before.

Does this means something wrong with the thermocouple, the plastic float or something else? Please also show me how to change the red led or globe close to the out let taps at the front which has gone sine long ago. Thanks

Just buy a couple of lbs of citric acid to descale that - much more effective than vinegar.
