What's the story behind Bali's abandoned planes?

Have you ever heard of Bali's abandoned planes? Bali is popular for it's beaches, waterfalls, volcanoes and coconuts, but I bet you didn't realise that there are multiple abandoned planes across the island?

I went deep into research to find out where Bali's abandoned planes came from, how they got there and what was their intended use. I also let you know what the abandoned planes will become in the future.

there's one more in Jembrana village in the middle of the field but I can't find any information on it. It was a full body plane just like the one in Nyang Nyang beach and Bypass Ngurah Rai.

Also the the roof top of gate 88 is still used for music events, small festivals. They hire it out to people to host events.

I dislike like the fact that the plane located near Nyang Nyang Warung is being turned into a villa. The guy is turning a vintage attraction into a mini hotel. No one benefits from this except the guy that’s renovating it to make money from it. Let the public enjoy it, the more travelers that take pictures of it the more exploitation you’ll have.
