Nice explanation. I understand that as DOF increases t-dist approaches Normal Distribution. Can you please clarify, why we did not confirm the data given for filling of bottle as from Normal Distribution prior applying one sample t-test ? Or is the n =16 sufficiently large enough for applying parametric test ? As I see, original data is not from Normal Distribution (got a p-value of 0.009 in Normality test) .
