The deck was made by Tomoharu Saito; technically this is a netdeck, but since the deck pulls the best cards for the RG aggro in standard, I'm sure others have come to very similar decks recently, for that reason I wouldn't pass this off as netdecking.

Searing spear's main functions are to hit the opponent for 3 or kill a boros reckoner, neither of which mugging does.

At pro tours and grand prixs you mostly care about the amount of loses because those decides if your going to make it to the next day. When someone at the tournament asks you how you've done this is the way you would answer most of the time.

Follow up: Usually if you go 11-5, you can't make the top 8. 12-4 is already iffy. You should go 13-3 to make it into the top 8. Thus, X-3 means he still has a chance for the top 8.

It's not that the 'X' is irrelevant, but that it's the less-important side of your current score. Wins are great, but after a certain number of losses you cannot get enough wins to qualify for the next day due to the number of players in the tournament.

x-3 simply means, you have lost 3 rounds, in big scale tournaments, people usually only keep track of their losses

X-3 means that he has lost 3 rounds out of whatever number of rounds have been played so far. The number of wins and draws is pretty irrelevant in itself, as the number of losses or points you have given up decides whether you make it into the top 8 or not.
