For the second year in a row the XC1 Pro ATV National Championship has been decided at the final round of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC), presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship. Saturday’s AMSOIL Ironman GNCC was a winner-take-all affair in the XC1 class as two of the sport’s biggest names fought to secure the major championship at the 21st running of the Ironman GNCC is Crawfordsville, Indiana.

I always wanted to compete in GNCC as a kid! I rode all my life and just have a knack for it! I’m a beast in the woods all things fairly equal I think I could have done ok. Might still could but it’s some rough shit sometimes and I’m in my 40’s so not sure I got the balls I once had! Plus I don’t ride dirt any more I have a liter bike suzuki street bike she’s a beast!

I use to play a game called Pure all the time and it was just like this. I always assume they made the races more packed and chaotic for the game, never knew these events were real and really this crazy.

Does anybody ever get passed out there? I’ve watched a few Atv racing videos and I haven’t seen anyone pass anyone yet. Looks like however they end up off the line is pretty much the order they finish.
