A Fallout Lore Series (New episodes every other Friday)
Disclaimer: Lore is subject to rumor found in the game universe.

The discovery of the atomic bomb in the 1940s has given humanity a question the FALLOUT series has strived to answer. If ever there would come a day when mankind possessed the capacity to destroy himself, what would come of us? Some predict that's where our story will end, but what if it was only another bloody chapter of human history? You've experienced the FALLOUT series in your own way, but want to learn more about its story. Well- to get to the heart of the story- you have to go back to the beginning...

As much as I dislike Elijah because of what he puts you through at Sierra Madre, based on how the Think Tank describes his actions, he's bad ass. From what I got, he ran through their defenses, hacked computers, hijacked bots, wrecked a fucking train car and disabled a the railroads of Big MT.

"And badges? They don't need no stinkin' badges." 10/10, perfect time to use that reference

Am I the only one who thinks about the song "Hotel California" by the Eagles when I hear about the Sierra Madre?

I love the "we don't need to stinking badges" reference to the aptly named Bogart film, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Very subtle reference. Kudos to that!

While Dead Money was easily one of the toughest engineered experiences I'd faced as a gamer, I can still say it was the most rewarding. Retroactively getting to experience Elijah's tale from the end-onwards--from Veronica's pieced-together story, to finding His holotapes scattered Across the Big Empty, to hearing of the sojourn from the lips of Ulysses Himself, and finally cornering Him in the Heart of Sinclair's mad dream--was one of the most satisfying feelings I'd had felt in all my years of gobbling of Bethesda's marvelous tales. This was a new take on the classic Heist: five disjointed souls brought together for one last grand escapade: looting the the wealth of a dead world and learning It's darkest secret in the process. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.. And not just because the sordid tale of Sinclair and Keyes's love-triangle held me in thrall to the bitter end. I confess, I left a lot of bullion buried in the heart of Sierra Madre--call it a last respect's to the dead, or simply pragmatism at not being able to carry it all home with me--but in that Damned Bunker I also left the wailing souls of Father Elijah, Vera Keyes, and Dean Domino to stand vigil over the last Monument to the Old World's grandiose majesty. I can't think of a more-fitting end to a saga for the ages, than to kiss goodbye this Tomb and Headstone, and Begin Again..

Elijah is one of the most bad ass characters of the Fallout series. He beat the think tanks and destroyed their machines while he was like 80 years old and suffering migraines and headaches.
