Yeah, Crestwood PD are aholes. I was parked at a public area getting food at a restaurant and a Crestwood PD officer demanded I take down a St. Christopher medal hanging from my rear view mirror because it was blocking/obstructing my view of the windshield and was trying to cite me a ticket for it, but because I was parked, he legally couldn't write the citation/ticket because I had been parked there over 45 minutes. Then he called 2 other officers because he demanded ID and I refused to give it to him because I wouldn't ID. I wasn't even in my car and he caught me outside of the car trying to get in as I was about to leave. He illegally tried to detain me, but I told him Illinois is not a stop and ID state, then had one car block me off from leaving. All in all, 30 minutes wasted of my life, I got in the car, took the chain down holding the medal, drove away, and all the while they were following me out of the town. Once I got past the Crestwood sign into Midlothian, I visibly put the medal back on while he was turning away following me out of the town.

They are known for corruption and the mayor backs them 100 percent. The whole town is corrupt.

I went to the grocery store this morning and in front of the store blocking the sidewalk cops parked on the sidewalk were two police cars with cops standing talking. I was like excuse me. Is your business finished? They said yes why? I said your blocking the sidewalk with those two big cars. I walked around them with my cane and went in. They were gone when I came out.
