Restaurants nowadays do not permit individuals to be alone after close. They always require two people (at least) to be there.

I use to do graveyard shift at a gas station (Chevron) in El Cajon, CA. When I say the freaks come out at night they do. Luckily, we were instructed to never open the door for any reason at all or become unemployed. Glad, I no longer do graveyard shiftwork...it's not the best.

Rain sounds and depends on the background music. It has a calming effect and it's subtle meaning not overbearing during your narration.

I've worked Security (mostly at night) since 1985. I'm writing a book on my experiences, I've guarded everything from the border to the Pope (which is now a Saint...Pope/Saint John Paul). I think about the many different posts, situations and incident reports I've written over the years... I've even relieved Guards (who were grown Men) who refused to work nights because of 'the ghost's in the building. Instead of being scared, I was intrigued when I heard the story. I later verified with the rover/supervisor that it did in fact show itself to the previous shift guard, as well as the roving supervisor and his Wife...all of which refused to enter the build again on the night shift. So after thinking about their stories and the reaction I got from the rover/supervisor I figured it wasn't just one of those stories told to the new night shift guard to scare them, it appeared that the one who told me their story were really disturbed by what they saw... So since they all said it was the ghost of a little girl, probably 5 or 6, I decided to shop for a toy or two and try to get her to come out to play...so I picked up a couple of cheap toys at my local Goodwill or thrift store and took them to work with me and placed them on the landing where she had been seen before but she never came out and played. I've worked in 2 hospitals (Security night shift) after they were closed down and I was supposed to be the only one in the building...and never had any strange experiences that I can remember. But then again, I may be female, but I don't normally scare easily...

Those knocking sound effects in the first story were so good that I thought my boss was returning to the office door only to realize he was not there. I had replayed that part of the video only to hear the sound effects and that it was not from the office I was in. I listen to this channel at my work while editing captions and it makes me focus more.
