Großartige Interpretation, großartiges adäquates Instrument!
Endlich einmal ein Interpret, der das Stück am Ende ohne das - vollkommen sinnfreie - Ritardando spielt!
So muss es sein, so hat es Petr Eben immer wieder gefordert!

Great performance! I actually met Eben in person in Prague when I interviewed him for my doctoral dissertation for Boston University. He was very helpful in many ways until he died.

Hello Anthony, first of all thank you for your comment and sorry that the answer comes so late. Well, we asked Bernhard, the organist, and he told us that on the sheet of music, that he used, are noted two possibilities how to play this final passage and he prefers to only use two manuals as he thinks from a musical point of view, it is not necessary to use all three manuals. Of course you are right, it would be more impressive for the audience, but he prefers this way of playing.

I second the last comment. Only one question though. Why didn't you play the last page using all three manuals as intended by the composer? That is a real showstopper of a piece and for an audience to see the organist jumping across 3 manuals looks very impressive! Just using two manuals is a little modest :)

to the question about 3 or 2 manuals - there are 2 possibilities, I think that a possibility to use 3 manuals is a big offer to organist, nothing he should be afraid of. If your organ has 3 manuals, then use them all because it sounds better. 2 manual option is written for organ with just 2 manuals.
