I opened the control, washed everything, including the plate with soap and water, then dried it with a hairdryer. Now it's working perfectly.

I honestly didn't think this would work either coming from watching some other video.. My battery leaked through my fairly new remote. After working all the buttons, I found that left on the 4-way circular centre button was stuck.. You're a god damn champion my Russian friend or wherever you are from!

Don't snob these steps, they just worked for me and tbh we did the same thing when I was working on Netflix!!!

Carefully open the case with a plastic credit card then carefully wipe everything down with a cloth and alcohol/ windex etc. Let it dry or use a hairdryer. Then carefully reassemble. Don't be afraid to fix your own stuff. They don't want you to clean or maintain your appliances and things so that they break faster and you go out to buy a new one...

What would humanity do if we didn't have nice folks on YouTube who make videos on just about anything you can think of? I sure wish the internet had been around during my childhood.The learning opportunities on this site are endless. I've found that people on YouTube have been able to teach me very difficult concepts that my college professors couldn't. Still can't get my LG remote to change the channels. It does everything else, but won't change channels, even doing your steps. May have something to do with Comcast/Xfinity, which is what I have. Any suggestions?
