I just got it today, my grandma used it for four years so she give it to me and bought a new one for herself. Honor 8X in 2022 is still a very very very good phone-Long Battery Life, Nice Camera, Nice customized Background and lockscreen, Nice tools and widgets. Just a very nice phone to have.

I have this device. It's a very good daily driver for the price. My only main gripe with it is the poor audio/sound quality. I really do not understand manufacturers who implement such poor sound in their handsets. It's one of the MAIN features for consuming/absorbing media content. It's really frustrating. Yet with honor/huawei, it has been a problem for a few years now, but they do not seem to address it and actually listen to their customer base or the reviews for their handsets, where the sound/audio is and has been consistently slated, handset after handset.

Im reconsidering upgrading to this device, I have the Honor 7x. Im saving for a better smartphone like a Samsung S9 or Pixel 3XL, but this device has caught my attention. Is it worth it or should I keep saving for a better smartphone?

i have the honor 8x. the only thing i'm not happy with is the camera.
it's ok for the price but as a previous iphone user, i was a bit disappointed. but overall amazing phone.

I'm torn between the Honor 8X or Sony Xperia 10. Its important for me to have great sound quality. The honor has a great battery but i too big, on the flip side the Sony is very easy to hold in the hand but has a smaller battery (I'm concerned that it will not last a whole day). Also the honor has microUSB instead of type C.
I am going to buy one of them this days.
Any ideas guys?
