A confessional statement is so potent that upon admission the prosecution need not prove its case any further. However, there are certain rules to be followed as laid down by SECTION 29 OF EVIDENCE ACT . These rules would be discussed in subsequent classes. This class is an introduction to confession/confessional statements.
