Being a Rockies fan is like waiting for your dad to bring back the milk that he went to 8 years ago

As a Red Sox fan, I'm ok with our deadline. Considering what Baltimore forked over for Eflin and especially Rogers, getting any of the big names was gonna be tough. We filled some needs without gutting the top of our farm.

Yeah Soler brings a great bat to a lineup that has been bad for the most part and has control but I don’t think betting on a Whitt Merrifield Phillies revenge tour until Ozzie Albies comes back from injury. Regardless of what the Braves did, the lineup has to hit better especially Olson, Ozzie, Harris and Arcia.

As a Tigers fan, that Flaherty trade ended up alright since Trey Sweeney replacing Javier Baez really boosted the team. Too bad Flaherty is doing so bad with the Dodgers.

I'd give the Braves a C+ too. I feel like they were treating the third salary tax threshold as a soft salary cap, which limited their willingness to take on money. Plus it seems like AA regime is highly reluctant to trade most of the higher-end prospects.

Josh bell just had a 2 homer game in his debut with the d-backs😂

And this why the Mets had the best trades before the deadline!

I feel like the Dbacks had a solid deadline. They needed relievers and got 2 solid bullpen arms. Not incredible, but reliable. And the Josh Bell trade is because C walk is hurt so I think it's good they got a short term replacement.

No the Tigers didn’t have a very good trade deadline, but at least they didn’t trade Tarik Skubal. They still have control over him for a couple years, and he’s a player they should build around, instead of sell for Pennie’s on the dollar like they did with Justin Verlander in 2017

Red Sox fan here. I like how our deadline went. We weren’t supposed to be anywhere near this good this year. Since we’re basically playing with house money at this point, I like that we didn’t sell the farm to push for the World Series this year when we have several top prospects less than a year away

Royals had a great trade deadline. They looking unstoppable right now they got a lot better.

I like the Nats deadline, but we maybe went a bit heavy on the third basemen especially with House in our system. However, none of the guys we gave up had any long-term future here, and given how many 3B guys we got we should be set on the infield long-term. I think we're in good shape to compete over the next few years; we saw flashes of potentially competing this year, we were in a playoff spot in June, and most of the team will stay for another couple years minimum.

You have to think about the rangers. Cody Bradford, Dane Dunning, and Josh Jung came back recently. And then, we have Degrom, Mahle, (and hopefully Evan Carter in the postseason, prolly not though.) Now, we could have one of the best if not the best bullpens in baseball. Josh Sborz, Cody Bradford, Andrew Chafin, David Robertson, Jose Leclerc, Jacob Latz, Jonathan Hernandez, Kirby Yates, and either Dane Dunning and Jon Gray or Andrew Heaney whenever the rest of the rotation gets healthy. We also have some young guys in there too along with some veterans in the minor leagues like Diego Castillo and Adrian Sampson, who could also be an extra starter if there are more injuries. Our starting rotation will consist of Degrom, Eovaldi, Scherzer, Mahle, Jon Gray or Andrew Heaney. This offense is the same as last year pretty much except Evan Carter is out. They can still win the chip if they turn things around here soon. Especially with this terrible division we are in. All of this is said to show that they didn’t have to do much in the trade deadline. We only had 1 lefty reliever in our entire bullpen and now we have Chafin plus Pennington who should be in the majors in a couple weeks after playing in triple A Round Rock. Now we have a catcher that can actually hit to back up Jonah Heim who is having a not so great year at the plate. In a little while, it could be 50-50 on who catches every day. Hopefully everything turns around for the Rangers with all of these returning players and these few acquisitions at the trade deadline.

I'm a Dodgers fan, definitely not upset. Love flaherity and not upset by what we gave up. Crochet would have cost a lot and I'm worried he'll be spent by October. We have a lot of guys on the IL we should get back soon. That should be better than our deadline.

Padres don't deserve an A. I'd say a B to C realistically. They sacrificed pretty much their whole farm for bullpen

You should come back to this at the end of the season and re grade
