Ultimate DUMPLING Tour in San Diego, California

San Diego, California - This week I went out in search of the best dumpling restaurants in San Diego, and Convoy Street in particular.

If you want to find some fun things to do in San Diego, I highly recommend going over to Convoy Street and discovering some of the amazing international restaurants!

We went to four locations to try dumplings in San Diego, and these were all recommended by local followers on Instagram and Facebook!

The highlight for me was most definitely Din Tai Fung at the UTC Mall. They make the dumplings fresh and their attention to detail is incredible.

Din Tai Fung is my favorite for dumplings. Everything I've had there was delicious (seriously!) and those chocolate dumplings are pure heaven!
Definitely going to try the other establishments featured too!

Years ago, I read a detective novel set in Taipei. The main character had a meal at the Din Tai Fung there, and described the food in detail. I was so jealous. Never imagined two of those restaurants would eventually open close to me, here in Los Angeles. I now eat at one of them regularly. There's some other wonderful dim sum houses close to where I live. We have one of the biggest Chinese American communities in the U.S. nearby (in the San Gabriel Valley), which brings me great joy.

Great video with some good spots. Next time you are on Convoy check out "Tasty Noodle House." For me they make the best dumplings in San Diego and are so much better than Don Tai Fung.
