I’m guessing the Dallas line is meant to poke at his lack of exposure to real culture, but I actually found it super dark! There have been rumors of mafia connections since at least the 60s, notably theories that the mafia were ACTUALLY behind the JFK assassination. So for him to say he had real Italian food in Dallas, to me, means he was hanging out with mobsters 😵
