Correction. Fundrise does own and develop real estate, but you don’t get to say..own a piece of a particular project. You buy into one of their REITS and share in profits. You can get REITS anywhere, this company just offers private ones.

I invested a chunk in 2020. Fundrise returned a very healthy amount that year. Even better in 2021! And 2022 was pretty good too. So along comes 2023 and my account has lost 80% of the returns generated in the previous three years. The last thing I’ll say is the information relating to my account seems fishy the past couple months. Fundrise reporting system appears to be on a one week lag where previously the date on the system matched the calendar. Now it’s always days behind. Fingers crossed it’s not all going to collapse like some wacky bitcoin scam. Time will tell.

The returns are not good. My money has been sitting in Fundrise for a year and a half and i only made a .5 % return this fund is also not liquid. Wouldn’t really recommend this

Interest rate goes up, prices go down, interest rate goes down, prices wont follow for a few months/years. In realestate there are perfect timings
