We always take the bigger number than n/2 ... Here, we took 20-30 class because median is given 28.5 ... Also (25+x) is bigger nearest number dont just focus on 25

Excuse me mam I've a doubt-
In Ex-14.3 Q1. we have to find median so the value of n/2 is 34 and to find cumulative frequency we see the number which is close to the closest numbers were 22 and 42 so we took the bigger one which was 42....then we took the (f) 20 and (cf) in Q2. n/2 is 30 and to find (cf) there were two numbers which were close to 30 they were 25+x and 40+x so we took the smaller one which is 25+x so the (f) becomes 20 and (cf) is 5+x my question is - we have to take the smaller no. or the greater no.?
