This is one of the best rounds of golf if not the very best round Rory Mcllroys ever played in his career.I know he played out of his body at the US OPEN AT CONGRESONAL.But that was one of the softest courses in a US OPEN That I can recall.But this round of golf on this almost unplayable of a Train Wreck bound to happen of a golf course. That course was playing so difficult it's hard to put in words the level of Difficulty this course played this year at Pinehurst #2 .On a normal days round at #2 with your buddies and no nerves.Even a DIVISION 1 college golfer would have a very hard time breaking par on Donald Ross masterpiece of reckoning he created out of those North Carolina pine trees and Sand Dunes. So to say this course was playing probably 6 to 8 shots harder during this US OPEN then on a in season #2. And for RORY to shoot -5 under 65 and he missed 4 or 5 really close misses for birdie. He was so in control of his game it was a beautiful thing to see the mastery of this man.
