Fun fact: Paul McCartney wrote let it be after having a dream of his deceased mother (who was named Mary) coming to him and telling him “everything will be ok, just let it be”. He woke up and began working on the song.

I saw Paul McCartney in Concert last weekend with my Dad and we have had a rough past but to sing Hey Jude with him, that made up for everything and I wouldn’t trade that moment for anything.

At the time, Elvis was drafted into the army, Chuck Berry was in trouble with the law, and the music died with Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper. All there was were idiot crooners. The Beatles saved Rock and Roll.
