Even with his loses I believe that Manny is boxings G.O.A.T. He is the only boxer in history to win 12 major world titles in 8 different weight divisions.
This includes the fact that Pac stood toe/toe and actually fought every opponent, instead of running from them.
He also did not hand pick his opponents, or the times at which he fought them to give himself the greatest advantage.

At the start of his career he had no real defence and was prepared to slug it out with his opponents until they fell. Later with better training he developed his ability to punch and move so he didn't get hit so much. But of course he could still take a punch.
