In Universe, it is the Rabbit and Bear that started the Fazbear Company, which led to their eventual unification/fight now. That Daughter (if Molten Freddy have Circus Baby's remains) and Father reunited. Old enemies came back (Springtrap and Golden Freddy).

I mean really, these two started from a Family Dinner to a full blown megaplex in the current timeline.

I have a theory as to why molten Freddy is still alive. We know that spring trap was most likely revived as glitchtrap. And molten Freddy is like 5 children souls all together that are determined to get revenge on Afton so maybe as long as Afton is alive, molten Freddy, and by extension the 5 souls determined for vengeance inside, will continue to pursue him
