Long term close work, does it, of course!
Preventable at 20/50.
I managed to get back to 20/40,
In one year.
In the next year got back to 20/20.
Refractive state now?
+0.5 Diopters, both eyes.

Actually all eyes are dynamic systems, not a "camera", that you sketch.

Nahh you probably have pseudomyopia, so just spend more time looking further away instead of close up and it will fix it so you don’t get low dioptre myopia & then start getting more when you wear the lenses a lot or all the time.

Reason it out.

I’m 8 and i have myopia I would usually stay up all night on my phone but now I don’t because of what the eye doctor told me, I’m getting glasses soon.

I think I have a story for myopia. Mine developed right after entering high school. The difference was that until then, I always was walking or cycling to my house for lunch, since kindergarten. In high school, my first cafeteria. In northern countries, you only have meaningful uvb radiation around noon. Turns out, it's likely that the eyes directly produce vitamin d from cholesterol like the skin, and it's known that they are full of enzymes activating vit d. So if you have low levels of it, it's probably crucial that the eyes get preferential vit d exposure, ie by directly producing it. This would also explain why outdoors inversely correlates with myopia.

"Findings In this secondary analysis of the European Eye Study, only ultraviolet B radiation exposure was associated with a reduced odds ratio for myopia, especially in adolescence and early adulthood, despite adjustment for years in education."
