Young Ugandan engineer Lawrence Okettayot believes he has a solution for the world’s food waste crisis.
His ‘Sparky Dryer’ is powered by garden waste and dries fresh food in just a few hours – making it last up to two years. The amount of food wasted every year in Africa could feed 300 million people.

Maybe in our homes we can just use fridge/refrigerator to preserve the fruit n vegetables.. But africa is much more challenging, there is no much electricity, so yeah this is a very good innovation. Well done Mr.Lawrence!! :)
