You can't overstate the need for training. Anybody who believes an 8 hour CCW class is all they need is badly mistaken. I took the 40 hour handgun component of OPOTA's basic firearms course, and then learned from experienced police officers just how much more I needed to know to be proficient, defend myself, and not endanger those around me. And I'd been shooting for most of my life. With all the new gun owners today, I hope your classes are all jammed.

I have done the pants trick. now I am wearing muck boots for the winter and I tuck my dao revolver into my knee high boot. Gotta keep that triggers finger straight no different than drawing from a holster
