i was recently playing crimea, immediately attacked venice, took a province near austria, improved relations, changed to catholic, joined the hre.. became a catholic horde...
was hoping to form golden horde and stay in the hre but it keeps kicking me out.. dunno if it will do the same if i try to form mongol empire? its kinda annoying cos it put
me off continuing playing. i had also hope to later becoem monarchy & become hre emperor as mongol empire.. but not sure if its even possible...

Ling is actually stable now. Before 1.37, I was always supporting the ming to make him survive as long as possible
In my new Mughal game, I did nothing and just let him do whatever. He got the nomadic frontier for mor than 30 years and survived!! then got it a second time. Now in 1650, Ming is 5th GP pass reforms regularely and has 400k troops. I don't even want to kill him. This is the first time AI is managing Ming well.
Btw the reason why Ming was in the disaster for 30 years was because I was allied with the Oirats...
